  • The Federation reflects and celebrates the cultural, religious and linguistic diversity the globe.

  • The curriculum (and wider curriculum) is at the heart of developing a culturally inclusive Federation.

  • Pupils demonstrate a ‘can do’ culture in relation to advocating for real change both locally and globally.

  • An ethos of respect fosters positive relationships for pupils and staff and the Federation community

Actions

How will it be done?

Bulera

  • Re-establish links to Bulera through working with local church rep.

  • Build opportunities to link with Bulera across the Federation through the Geography curriculum.

  • Build in opportunities for pupils to take on courageous advocacy and educate others on the issues facing the Bulera School.

Courageous Advocacy

  • Build in opportunities to discuss courageous advocacy in collective worship and identify links to curriculum aspects

  • Ensure it is a focus for EARA, School Council & Eco-team.

UNICEF

  • EARA Project to introduce Federation to UNICEF rights document. Identify most important and embed them through collective worship.

  • Use Life Learning Curriculum to explore these issues and others linked to diversity topics, encouraging a healthy debate.
