Introduce a spiral long-term curriculum to pupils recall key learning more regularly.
Further training for staff on intelligent practice that exemplifies how tasks can be constructed to sequentially change specific mathematical elements to highlight/practice key learning – focus on areas of mathematics other than number.
Maths manager/SENDCo to lead joint training on adapting intelligent practice to support pupils with SEND. How can small steps progress be assessed and used to inform task design?
Coaching support for teaching staff to implement modifications to their practice.
