The Curriculum is sequenced so it systematically builds subject and disciplinary knowledge.

How will it be done?
The RE Coordinator will meet with the Diocesan RE Advisor to write a new RE Long term map, incorporating units of Work from the appropriate syllabus’.
INSET 4 Nov 2024 led by Jane Kelly from Winchester Diocese to train the team on delivering the Syllabus "Understanding Christianity". This taining will include exploration of key concepts, ‘Golden Threads’, the Enquiry Cycle’ and the focus on Disciplinary Knowledge’.
The RE Leader to work with the Foundation Governor and Diocesan Advisor, to identify three Bible stories that demonstrate the values of Wisdom, Courage & Respect.
RE Leader to work with Diversity Coordinator to apply for Bronze Level of the Global Neighbours award
RE subject Leader to develop other aspects of the Federation’s Christian Distinctiveness e.g. a Pupil Worship Team.
