Year 6 Calshot Residential Day 2.

Another action packed day today and despite the lack of sleep, the rain and gale force winds the children's spirts have remained high! The children did get some sleep and as they tucked into a full English breakfast this morning they regaled each other with some very funny stories about their night-time antics!

All the children had a fun morning in the Ringo's and then some teamwork challenges in Epic Engineering.

After another hearty lunch the children split off into groups. Two of the groups enjoyed climbing and skiing and the third group completed the 'team swing' and enjoyed archery.

The children have once again been a credit; we have witnessed so many personal achievements, moments of resilience, great teamwork and supporting each other and accepting a challenge. All of our 'Life Learning' curriculum skills have been on show today and they are all nailing it! The staff team was boosted today from visits from Miss McGregor and Mrs Hannah. We all look forward to a bit more sleep tonight!
