Calshot Day 3

Year 6 have all had another fantastic day in Calshot. Following an extremely wet and windy walk to breakfast, we were grateful for a morning full of activities inside the centre - including skiing, cycling and lots of climbing!
Miss Butler's group showed some excellent team work whilst doing the Peg Pole - a challenge where the children climbed to the top of a podium and then (nervously) abseiled down again!
Mr Scott's group 'zipped' around Aerotrek, (a Go-Ape style activity) where resilience was a must! Lots of the children conquered their fear of heights and showed incredible determination.
Mrs Brittain and Mrs Hannah's group tackled some different climbing walls, playing brilliant team games along the way.
After another delicious lunch, the children finally had a snippet of sunshine and some (very windy) fresh air - they then took part in a Low Ropes activity.
Dinner this evening was mac 'n' cheese - which was thoroughly enjoyed by all!
Tomorrow will hopefully see us take part in activities on the water (the children have been patiently waiting for some safer weather for this to happen). Everyone is looking forward to another super sleep tonight after playing terrific team games in the hanger.
