Calshot Update Day 4

Despite a very wet and windy day, the children faced the day like absolute pros.
Miss Halle’s and Mrs Hannah’s Groups: Fearlessly scaled a very wobbly peg pole before hitting the slopes for indoor skiing. We are pleased to report a lot less falling over today!
Miss Butler’s Group: Smashed the aero track obstacles, flew down the zip wire, and tried their hand at archery. Miss Butler wisely spent the session standing firmly (and safely) out of the firing line.
After a hearty lunch, all three groups conquered the obstacle wall or built towering crate stacks, and tried some snowboarding. The teamwork was fantastic, even if the crate towers did eventually come crashing down!
After demolishing a massive dinner of spaghetti bolognese, the children are currently winding down in their comfiest clothes for a chilled-out film night.
We fully expect a quiet night of sleep, mostly because we have thoroughly worn them out.
Update from Mr Davies: The children have done brilliantly this week. We should feel proud of all of them. Please join me in thanking the amazing staff team for taking the children to Calshot and making this wonderful experience possible.
