St Thomas' Infants : Re-wilding Project

Congratulations to the incredible School Council at St Thomas’ Infant School on successfully securing £1,000 of funding towards their exciting re-wilding project!

The School Council delivered a thorough, thoughtful and incredibly well-prepared presentation to members of the Friends of Woolton Hill Schools PTA committee, outlining their vision to create a much-needed green and shaded environment for pupils to enjoy.

Their passion, confidence and commitment to improving their school grounds shone through, and it was clear just how much research and planning had gone into their proposal. The councillors explained how the project would enhance the outdoor space, creating a greener, more welcoming environment where children can learn, play and connect with nature.

Following the presentation, the PTA committee unanimously agreed that this was a fantastic and worthwhile project and was delighted to award £1,000 towards bringing the School Council’s vision to life.

We are incredibly proud of every member of the School Council. They demonstrated fantastic teamwork, communication and leadership, proving that young people really can make a difference when they have a passion for positive change.

We can’t wait to see the re-wilding project take shape and look forward to watching this exciting new outdoor space flourish for the benefit of current and future pupils.
