“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.” — Proverbs 22:6
Headteacher's Update

What a fabulous start we have had to the term! It has been lovely to see lots of smiling faces as they have got started with their work, catching up with friends and exploring their new classrooms. When walking throughout the school and visiting each class, the children are all settled in their work and taking great care with their presentation.
Our army of volunteers are back in school, supporting in the library and listening to children read. We really appreciate the support you give us. If you have a spare hour in the week to come into school you would be very welcome - contact the office.

Safeguarding Updates
Allergy Awareness
The Schools of Woolton Hill have been preparing for the introduction of Benedict’s Law, new statutory guidance designed to strengthen allergy safety in schools following the tragic death of Benedict Blythe.
The legislation requires schools to have a published whole-school allergy policy, provide allergy awareness training for staff, and maintain spare emergency adrenaline auto-injectors (AAIs) on site, alongside robust procedures for supporting pupils with allergies.
We are pleased to confirm that all of these requirements are now in place across our schools. A particular thank you goes to our parent volunteers who have recently completed allergy awareness training, helping us to create an even safer environment for all children.
As part of our commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare, all school volunteers are also required to undertake safeguarding training in addition to holding an enhanced DBS check. Together, these measures help ensure that every child can learn, thrive and participate fully in school life with confidence and security
