Woolton Hill Schools’ First Ever Colour Run Was a Huge Success!

What an incredible evening we had at the very first Colour Run at Woolton Hill Schools!

With sunshine overhead and clouds of vibrant powder filling the air, the school field was transformed into a spectacular sea of colour, laughter, and excitement. Families, friends, staff, and children all came together to enjoy a truly memorable school community event.

A huge thank you goes to our fantastic Chair, Nick Watson, who expertly compered the afternoon and fully embraced the fun — even volunteering himself to be chased by an enthusiastic crowd of colourful, powder-covered children!

The atmosphere was electric throughout the event. From the bursts of colour creating beautiful patterns across the field to the lively bar helping keep everyone in the party spirit, it was wonderful to see so many smiling faces enjoying the evening together.

Most importantly, thanks to the incredible support of our community, the event raised just over £1,000 towards the redevelopment of the school pond. This exciting project aims to enhance the children’s outdoor learning curriculum and create a valuable space for exploration and nature-based education.

Combined with recent grant funding, we are now just shy of reaching the £7,000 mark towards our ambitious £20,000 target — a fantastic achievement, given we only launched the fund raising in November last year, and an important step towards bringing the project to life.
