Headteacher's Update

As I write this newsletter the Junior School is a hive of activity with members of 'The Friends of Woolton Hill Junior School' busily setting up for this evening's Woolfest! This is a legendary annual event and I'm sure that all of our families will have a marvellous time.
I would like to thank all the members of the Friends committee who have made this event possible, Mr. Chaffe, our caretaker, the school staff for all their help, and all the parents who have given up their time to support. Have a great evening.
Our Year 6 pupils had a wonderful experience today at Winchester Cathedral, taking part in the KS2 Leavers' Service for the very first time. We were incredibly proud to showcase our brand-new school banner—a heartfelt thank you to Mrs Day for creating such a beautiful piece of work.

Year 5/6 Production
Upper KS2 will be proudly presenting Peter Pan on Wednesday 16th July.
Year 5/6 parents can now book FREE tickets for the shows at 2pm and 5pm via this link to the events page of our website:
We are initially limiting tickets to 2 per family per performance. If more tickets become available we will let our families know. This will ensure that there is room for all our families to attend.

Sports Day
This year our Federation Sports day will be held on Friday 4th July at the Junior School. The school gates will be open at 9.15am and the whole family is welcome to come along and show their support. A family picnic will take place at lunch and afterwards, before children return to class for their afternoon lessons.
Please remember to show consideration for our neighbours when parking for this event or preferably please walk into school that day. Staff will park on the playground that morning to create more spaces for parents in the car park - we hope this will reduce congestion on the road outside the school and will help to keep everyone safe.
School Uniform
As we move closer to the end of the school year, I'm sure some parents will already be looking ahead to purchase items for the new school year. Most items can be bought from a supermarket and items with logos can be ordered directly from our supplier Price & Buckland. Click below to access further information on this.

Letting our Light Shine
Well done to all our pupils who proudly took part in her Razzamatazz Theatre Show, where each class performed a mini musical, along with a commercial dance and song. We have a very talented bunch of performers in our Federation.
