Headteacher's Update

Next week, each family will receive one free copy of our 'Vision Stories' Book.
Our Christian values of Wisdom, Courage and Respect are at the centre of our ethos, curriculum, wider provision, day-to-day conversations and decision making. This book links our values to three Bible stories: Mary’s story illustrates Courage, the Parable of the Two Builders, Wisdom and the story of the Good Samaritan, Respect.

These stories provide our children with insights into how Jesus teaches us to live out these values in our daily lives. The stories are brought to life by amazing illustrations provided by pupils from both schools, under the guidance of artist and parent Michaela Bessell and our Foundation Governors Alice Maclean and Fiona Ashworth.
We hope you will enjoy sharing our Vision Stories and ask you to keep the safe as pupils will be using it for homework activities in the summer and Autumn terms.
Year 6
Well done to all the Year 6 pupils who took part in their SATS tests this week. We are really proud of the way they have approached the test this week and for doing their best. We can be very proud of every one of them.
I would also like to thank all of the staff for the support they have given to the children and to the kitchen team for providing them with a tasty breakfast each morning.
Inclusion & Diversity
We are excited to introduce a new section on our school website dedicated to our commitment to diversity and inclusion. This space highlights the steps we take to ensure that every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to thrive in an inclusive environment.
We encourage parents to explore this section to learn more about our initiatives and see how we celebrate the richness of our community. Together, we can create a culture where every student belongs—visit the website here and discover how we’re making a difference.
The Friends News

As a friendly group of volunteers we are always looking for people to join our team, whether it is to help out with one off events or more regularly, any help is greatly appreciated. Support the Friends so that we can support our schools.

It raised about £350 for our schools, and is an activity we plan to repeat in the future with different films.
