🌟 Exciting Announcement: Meet Our New Little Pioneers Pre‑School Manager – Mrs Marsh! 🌟

We are absolutely thrilled to share some wonderful news with our school community…Mrs Marsh has been successfully appointed as the Manager of our brand‑new pre‑school, Little Pioneers!

Many of you already know Mrs Marsh through her fantastic work as our Early Years Assistant in Hedgehogs. She has been a much‑loved and highly respected member of our Early Years team, forming strong relationships with children and families alike. Her calm presence, nurturing approach, and passion for early childhood education have made her an invaluable part of our school.

Mrs Marsh says: "I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to manage and teach at Woolton Hill's new 'Little Pioneers Pre-School, which opens in April 2026.  I am so looking forward to welcoming all the new children and parents and continuing working closely alongside Miss Macdonald and her Reggio Emilia inspired ethos and approach.  

I began my professional career in London working for publishing company Dorling Kindersley for Global Sales in children’s books.  After twelve years my husband and I moved to Hampshire and had our children Olivia and Edward.  I then embarked on my Montessori training in 2006 and worked within a Montessori school until 2023.  I was then given the opportunity to work at St Thomas Infant School, Year R in January 2024 which brings me up to date.    

I love spending time with my family and our wired haired sausage dog Mabel.  We enjoy spending our holidays in France and also our annual ski trip.

For me to be given the opportunity to teach children in early years, especially pre school, has been so rewarding and I feel so lucky to be able to give children a fantastic foundation and starting block in preparing them for school.  Children should be able to explore their environment and learn at their own individual pace, creating happiness and independence."
