Friday 4th July brought Woolton Hill sunshine and an enjoyable morning of sporting success followed by our first ever Year 2 camp night! A busy but enjoyable day full of firsts; 1st place in races, first ever Sports Days for Year R, first time sleeping over and our first time hosting a school sleepover for Year 2!
It was also the final junior Sports Day for our Year 6's who performed with speedy running, great sportsmanship, resilience, teamwork and lots of personal successes. Our Year 6 House Captains did a great job of organising and cheering on their team. Well done to Pegasus for lifting the Sports Day cup after wining the event with the most points gained during the morning of sport.
Year 2 then enjoyed a night full of fun, freedom to play and a campfire where we shared memories of Year 2 and ate delicious smores. The children all got some sleep but there were a few tired faces at breakfast time!
What a proud day for the Federation and our annual Sports Day had a real community feel with so many families joining the fun and sharing with us their enjoyment and positive feedback, thank you.
