WHJS Grounds Working Party

We would like to invite parents and the local community to come to a grounds clearance morning at the Junior School on Saturday 8th October starting at 9:30am. During this session we would like to continue to clear the area running from the field to the new outdoor camp. This will involve clearing out brambles, nettles etc, edging the existing path and laying woodchip. This will then allow children to walk safely along the path to the camp area and sit on tree stumps around the camp fire for sessions.

If you feel that you would be able to spare some time to come along and help please RSVP so that we have a rough idea of the numbers.

If you have gardening equipment that you would be willing to bring with you then please do. It may be wet and muddy so please wear appropriate clothing. Children are welcome to come along but they will need to be very carefully supervised as it is a working site.
